Kings XI Punjab full squad IPL 2018

In previous season of IPL, KXIP failed to enter in knockout. This time they take some bold decision of releasing their star player Glenn Maxwell and David Miller. But in Auction they used RTM to retain Miller. It seems Kings XI Punjab has decided to invest in young Indian players. They have retained Axar patel who is young all-rounder. Below we have mentioned entire KXIP Squad for IPL 2018. In the last round of Auction KXIP decided to buy West Indies T20 specialist Chris Gayle. If he will get his form then RCB will never regret their decision of releasing him.

Umesh Yadav

He made his debut in IPL 2010 and till now he played total 94 matches in IPL. In his IPL career he picked up total 91 wickets with best bowling figure of 4/24. His best season was 2012 in which he took 19 wickets in 17 matches. Umesh yaday played for Delhi daredevils and Kolkata knight riders till now. Since he is available for auction it will be very exciting to know for which team he will play in IPL 2018.  

Mohammed Shami

In 2017 Mohammed Shami played for Delhi Daredevils. Since 2009 He played only 39 matches and took 23 wickets. Due to many injuries he was not able to play many matches in IPL series till now. But according to news, Now shami is recovered fully from all the injuries and available for IPL Auction 2018. There is no doubt that Shami will be one of the attractive bowlers in IPL Auction 2018 for franchises.

 Mohit Sharma

He is a very good strike bowler in IPL according to his past records in IPL till now. Mohit sharma made his debut in IPL 2013 from Chennai super kings and till 2015 he played for CSK. Post CSK banned in IPL, KXIP bought Mohit sharma and he played 2 years for KXIP. Now again he is available in Auction pool in IPL 2018. I am damn sure most of the franchises who are looking for a responsible and experienced fast bowler in IPL 2018 will keep their eye on Mohit sharma and will bid for him as well.

On January 3all team's franchises have announced name of players retained  in their team for IPL 2018. Rest of players are available in Auction.

Full List of Player retention for  IPL 2018

CSK : Dhoni, Jadeja and Raina is retained by CSK. Things will be difficult for other teams as these 3 player again come together in CSK.

RCB: Indian Caption Virat Kohli and South Africa's one man army Ab De Villiers will continue their journy with Royal Challenger Bangalore. RCB also retained Sarfaraz Khan.

KKR: Sunil narine and Andre Russell is retained by KKR. Thi time KKR has not retained Gautam Gambhir who was leading KKR since last few years. Even in captaincy of Gautam KKR won IPL title 2 times.

DDR: Chris Morris, Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer are retained by DDR. Delhi has also declared Ricky Ponting as their head coach.

MI: As per expect ion Mumbai Indians has retained Rohit Sharma. Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah are also retained by MI.

KXIP: Only Axar Patel will continue his journey with Kings XI Punjab. KXIP will build up a new team with youngsters and try to come back in form with help of youngsters in IPL 2018.

RR : Steven Smith will join Rajasthan Royals again. It will be exciting to see who will be other players Rajasthan will pick in Auction.

SRH: David Warner and Bhuvneshwar Kumar will continue their journey with Sunrisers Hyderabad.

This Time Player retention list is little bit surprising for people as Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan and Ashwin will again be available for Auction. IPL 2018 Auction will be done on 27th and 28th January 2018.
